    2. I'm sorry to break into someone else's post, but I couldn't find another way to contact you 😊 I absolutely love your patterns, I've just started the Iris Bloom Bonnet, and would just like to say... I LOVE it! Thanks so much for sharing your designs, and though I can't see any posts more recent thank 2018, so I hope you're still around! Thanks again, Mandie xx

    3. Hi Mandie!

I'm around, just not knitting because of chronic repetitive stress injuries. I'm very glad that you're enjoying my patterns, though, and please let me know if you have any questions!!! I appreciate your kind note. :)

  3. Wow, just... wow. Your blog is a real treasure trove. I can't wait to get started on some of this stuff. I've never made a bag, but I'll definitely try yours. Do you use mainly cotton? It's best, right?

    1. I'm glad to hear you're enjoying my site! :) And pretty much the only reason I use cotton for bags is that it isn't very stretchy - as I'm sure you know, knit things have a tendency to grow, and that's not ideal for a functional item like a bag. You want to know it can carry your vegetables, you know! Anyway, long story short, of course you can use whichever fiber you'd like, but I don't think you can beat thick cotton (even better: thick CHEAP cotton) for a sturdy bag!
